Dionysus – an investment piece from Gucci

Prestige magazine writes about one of Gucci’s iconic bags – considered an investment piece!

“The distinguished Gucci label has been fascinating and inspiring with contemporary styles since 1921 and at the same time noble creations for which it enjoys worldwide fame. Their bags are regular guests of honor on the catwalks worldwide and have the heart of the fashion world conquered from the start. And if there is anything you can rely on in the fashion industry, it is that a new bag regularly storms the it-bag Olympus. She came, saw and she conquered.

This phrase may sound a bit high-spirited, but Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele succeeded in 2015 with his first bag, the Dionysus, for the fashion house Gucci, becoming a direct hit. With the unmistakable and unique lock in shape a double-headed tiger head, as an allusion to the Greek god Dionysus, who, according to legend, crossed the Tigris River on a tiger sent by Zeus, the house made a luxurious style statement. In addition to the iconic closure, the chain handle is a characteristic feature. Bloggers have recommended it as a fashion investment worldwide to buy a Dionysus bag – regardless of the version.”
