Size 40 French.
1998 Spring season.
A beautiful Chanel pant suit from the Karl Lagerfeld era of Chanel but with accents of Coco’s more traditional and incredibly chic take on the female suit.
Made from beige tweed with white embroidery, which leaves a textured finished and a lightness of colour that makes this a perfect spring/summer suit, but is warm enough that it could also be suited to winter use.
The long-sleeved jacket is short but not cropped and is cut to highlight the waist at its smallest point.
It has slim lapels and closes via two silver-tone buttons which show the CC logo and the phone number of the Paris boutique.
There are two open pockets on the front and one faux pocket seam sewn onto the chest.
It is fully lined with a beige, silk blend fabric which embroidered with the CC logo.
The straight fit pants are the perfect length, sitting at the ankle; the length and cut suiting both flats and heels.
They’re also lined and close via a concealed hook fastening, a button and a zip.
Jacket length shoulder to hem: 55cm.
Sleeve length: 58cm.
Bust laid flat: 44cm.
Pants length waist to hem: 100cm.
Fabric: 51% wool, 44% viscose, 4% nylon.
Jacket lining: 95% silk, 5% lycra. Pants lining: 100% silk.
Very good condition (8.9/10 ). Two small threads broken on left thigh but repaired. Not very noticeable when worn. Please refer to the photos. Otherwise the suit is in near mint condition.
